New scoring rubric available for grant applicants

May 23, 2016
Applying for a Kiwanis-family grant is an exciting time for Kiwanis members. But to get consideration for the funding that helps make a project possible, it’s important to follow instructions carefully. We’re helping to make the process as stress-free as possible—with the Kiwanis-family grant application scoring rubric.

The Kiwanis International Foundation Board of Trustees and staff use this scoring rubric to ensure applications are scored consistently and fairly. Using the four pillars of Kiwanis International’s strategic plan—the I-Plan—the document addresses the main components of each grant application.

Review the rubric carefully to ensure your application includes all the information that is scored.

Does your club or district foundation award grants? Use the rubric as a guide to develop your own scoring rubric.
