KIWANIS CHILDREN'S FUND TRUSTEE

Matthew Cantrall of Lakeland, Florida, was appointed trustee of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund in 2019. Matthew is a member of the Lakeland Kiwanis Club and served as the Florida District governor in 2013-14. He has also served as lieutenant governor and district administrator for Key Club International and Circle K International and has twice been elected club president. In addition, he is the host committee chairman for the 104th Kiwanis International Convention in Orlando, Florida.

Matthew is a Diamond-Level Walter Zeller Fellow and a George F. Hixson Fellow. He has also received the Legion of Honor and the Ruby K Award.

“The Kiwanis Children’s Fund is one of our greatest assets, providing not only relief to those suffering from the results of a natural disaster but in the case of MNT and IDD, providing the resources to combat international issues around the world,” says Matthew. "The Kiwanis Children’s Fund provides additional resources to Kiwanis clubs, allowing them to take their community service projects from good to great.”

The owner of Century Signs Inc., Matthew has served on numerous non-profit boards in his community. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, serves on the vestry of his church and coaches Little League baseball.

He and his wife, Cheryl, have two children and seven grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting Depression glass, traveling and volunteering with his family’s church.
