FILIP DELANOTE

KIWANIS CHILDREN'S FUND TRUSTEE

 

Filip Delanote of Koksijde, Belgium, was appointed to a three-year term as a trustee of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund Board, beginning October 1, 2017. 

A member of Kiwanis for 35 years, Filip has held various positions including Europe vice chairman for The Eliminate Project, president of the Sponsored Nations Committee and distinguished lieutenant governor.  

Filip served as club president and several years as club secretary.  He is a current member of the Kiwanis Club of Torhout Houtland, Belgium.  He previously was a member of the Kiwanis Clubs of Roeselare Rodenbach, Belgium, Central London, United Kingdom and Aunay Vallée d’Odon, France.  During the 2010-11 administrative year, he served as Distinguished Governor of the Belgium-Luxembourg District. 

Filip is a Diamond-level George F. Hixson Fellow, a Walter Zeller Fellow, life member, and member of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund Founders Circle. 

Filip has a Master’s degree in Science of Revalidation and Fysiotherapy. 

He is married to Ann and has four children and 11 grandchildren.
