Ann Wilkins of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was appointed to serve a three-year term as Kiwanis Children’s Fund trustee, effective October 1, 2015. Since that time, she has been appointed as treasurer, president-elect, and current, as president.

A member of Kiwanis for 17 years, Ann served as president of the Tahlequah Kiwanis Club in 2008–09. She also served Kiwanis as distinguished governor of the Texas-Oklahoma District in 2012-13 and lieutenant governor in 2006-07. Ann is a Walter Zeller Fellow, George F. Hixson Fellow and is a life member.

In addition to working with Kiwanis, Ann has been president and vice president of the Cherokee County Civic Cultural Center in Tahlequah, president of the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce, and a Chamber Ambassador. Ann is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the First Baptist Church in Tahlequah.

Ann retired after 27 years working as a mediator for the State of Oklahoma. She believes in the mission of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund because it funds worldwide projects to save lives and promote health and provides resources to develop the next generation of leaders and service-oriented people to fulfill the mission of Kiwanis International.

Ann and her husband, Leonard, have four children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
