The starting point from which the net increases (defined as the change in membership between October 1, 2013 and the present) are counted is:
  • Existing clubs: The club’s reported membership roster as of September 30, 2013. This is the number from which other years’ progress is measured.
  • New clubs: The club’s organization date as reported by the club-opening team (not the date the charter ceremony is held).
If a club drops below a level they previously achieved, they will be recognized again upon re-achieving the level.

Note: This award is available for clubs whose net membership has increased since October 1, 2013. It is measured once annually after all transfers, additions and deletions for the year are recorded. Member sponsors are recognized for bringing in new members through The Gift of Kiwanis Award.
