Travel insurance and emergency assistance

The following coverage options are available for Kiwanis club members as they plan their Paris trip.  

Travel insurance

Kiwanis International offers travel and medical insurance to Kiwanis members and their families, including attendees traveling outside their home countries. This insurance is provided through Seven Corners, Inc. The group coverage plan offers affordable coverage for accident and medical issues, with two deductible options, plus coverage for interruption of trip and loss of checked luggage (see Program Summary on Seven Corners’ registration page for more details). The plan also provides 24-hour assistance in multiple languages for any issues while traveling.

Examples of coverage costs for the trip to Paris:

- USD 100,000 of medical coverage with USD 250 deductible for ages 60-64 = USD 3.75/day

- USD 100,000 of medical coverage with USD 0 deductible for ages 60-64  = USD 4.94/day

Kiwanis benefit helps man injured on African safari get home
Gary Worthington marveled at the hippos, cheetahs and leopards. The African landscape stretched in front of him and his traveling companions. But on his last day of an 18-day trip to East Africa, he severed his quadriceps tendon while climbing into a vehicle. His focus quickly turned to getting back to California from Arusha, Tanzania.
