Chairman of the board of his local community bank.
Retired from senior management positions in the finance industry.
Married 44 years to Sue, also a Kiwanian. Two adult sons, two grandsons.
Why did you decide to run for office?
To help achieve my vision for our great organisation, which is for Kiwanis to be Viable (financially); Focussed (in all our efforts), Visible (in all that we achieve) and Appealing (to the current generation and to the next) .
What qualifies you to become an officer of Kiwanis International?
Experience gained from Leadership positions over a long period of time in Kiwanis. Active convention participation over many years. Business and community leadership positions outside Kiwanis. A continuing and undiminished desire to work for the betterment of Kiwanis.
How will you leave your mark on Kiwanis?
Others will pass their own judgement on my legacy. My approach to discharging my trustee responsibilities will be to set and work hard to achieve the highest possible standards in all that I do.
