Why did you decide to run for office?
My father and mother instilled in me the desire to make our community better, by being involved and engaged in it. I want to continue this desire by serving as Kiwanis International trustee. I want our clubs and members to be provided with the resources needed to accomplish their mission of improving lives in their communities.
What qualifies you to become an officer of Kiwanis International?
I bring my leadership skills, commitment and desire. I have experienced Kiwanis at each level of our family--all have provided me opportunities to lead and partner with others to achieve goals. My history with Kiwanis, along with my career as a lawyer and judge, has provided environments to work with others.
How will you leave your mark on Kiwanis?
It’s not about how I will leave my mark; it’s about how I will make opportunities for others to thrive. Our organization only succeeds when we all succeed. I will make it my goal to provide the leadership opportunities for others to reach their full potential and desires.
