Kiwanis Club of Homestead/Dade
Born in Pennsylvania. Moved to Florida in 1998, where I met the love of my life, Emilia, and married in 2000. We own and operate various businesses, including accounting, property management and television production. Became a Kiwanian in 2001 and now look forward to further serve this great organization.
Why did you decide to run for office?
Often, inspiration is found in the wisdom of others. Many years ago, I was given the opportunity to meet Mother Teresa. Her message that day was “If you cannot help 100, help just 1.” These simple words are my guiding light in Kiwanis leadership as we continue the mission, “#OneChildAtATime”
What qualifies you to become an officer of Kiwanis International?
From my earliest days as an emerging entrepreneur (newspaper delivery!!), I have been able to combine my passion for business with community service. In my current profession of property management, I am able to apply my educational background of finance and accounting with practical management experience and compassion for people.
How will you leave your mark on Kiwanis?
My “mark” is not important as it is important to leave Kiwanis stronger and better after I am done. The organization and its mission are far more important than any individual legacy. I have given my time & resources because I believe that today, tomorrow and 100 years from now, “#KidsNeedKiwanis”
