Cathy Szymanski for trustee

Wattsburg, Pennsylvania
Kiwanis Clubs of Erie and ekiwanis 2.0
Pennsylvania District

After six Years in the Army and Army Reserves, I moved to Erie to attend school. I love to help children and have been doing this with Kiwanis for 24 years, in various leadership roles. I serve on the boards of several non-profits.

Why did you decide to run for office?
I have a strong passion for improving the lives of others. As a Pennsylvania Formula Chair, I strongly believe in strengthening the Kiwanis Family; And with my business experience, I will positively impact Kiwanis and our communities.
What qualifies you to become an officer of Kiwanis International?
Managing a successful computer service company for 22 years with the understanding that providing the best technology is not enough. Keeping a team motivated in a rapidly-changing and highly competitive industry, while maintaining unparalleled customer service have provided me a unique skill set that I can bring to the Kiwanis board.
How will you leave your mark on Kiwanis?
I love Kiwanis and know that nothing in life comes easy. I will work for the members. Extreme dedication, especially in doing what you love, builds character and motivates others to follow in your footsteps. Kiwanis will have grown in service and in membership with my dedication and passion.
